Happy New Year!
Happy New Year friends! In 2026, Danny Childs and I will continue to seek God every day, enjoy every adventure He brings our way, and trust Him for provision for our family. We are asking Him to guide our steps and give us opportunities to share with others about what He is doing in our lives!

Thanksgiving 2025
The hard rain here today had just stopped. I was sitting in my usual spot in our sunroom finishing my devotion on thankfulness when I looked up and saw a display of God’s beautiful symbol of His promise to never flood the entire world again. The rainbow appeared only for a short time. Oh, how I wish the picture I had hurriedly taken captured its splendor! I felt like the rainbow’s placement in the sky - our front yard - was just for me! I was reflecting on how thankful I am t

Your Crisis Has a Higher Ground
Someone once said, in our lives we're either heading into a crisis, in the middle of a crisis, or coming out of a crisis. No doubt life is full of high, lows and in betweens. The highs are great! There's A Stake In My Heart
Are you listening to your negative thoughts, maybe even marinating in them?
Are you spewing out that ugly to other people?
The Bible says the words we say come straight from our hearts, our words actually reflect our spiritual conditions.
However, when we are followers of Christ, God is in us!

Every Church Needs A Hazel
In February 2019, we moved from Pensacola to a small Alabama town east of Birmingham, so that my husband could continue his long career with the power company.
We spoke many prayers prior to our move and were absolutely certain God was directing our steps. God and His church are important in our lives, so after settling into our new home we began a church search.
