God's Grace at Disney World

We can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps. ~ Proverbs 16:9

We were waiting for Sully, our youngest grandchild, to get a bit older before taking both of our girls and their families to Disney World for Christmas.

We decided 2025 would be the year. Three months in, however, we learned that much of this year would be focused on getting cancer out of my body. I wondered if I would be able to make the trip. It hurt my heart to think I would be the reason for canceling.

I looked forward to seeing my children with their children, and watching the reactions of our grandchildren as their eyes fixed on a Disney spectacle or expressed delight in eating a Mickey Mouse ice cream or some other magical treat!

As you can see by the pictures, by the grace of God I made it! Thank you Father God! Look at those precious faces!!💙🩷 Wonderful memories were made!

Bonus! I was able to walk all four parks, four days in a row, put in lots of steps AND leave 3.5 pounds in Orlando.

Every tired step I took was God’s enabling grace in motion! Truly, God’s grace is sufficient in my weakness.
